The Amazônia (or Amazónia) is a region in the South America, defined for the basin of the river Amazon and cover to a large extent for tropical forest (that also Equatorial Forest the Amazônia or Amazonian Hiléia is called). The forest is extended for nine countries: Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Equator, Guyana, French Guyana, Peru, Suriname and Venezuela. In Brazil, for the purpose of government and economy, the Amazônia is delimited by a called area Legal Amazônia.
